K-4th A new adventure

After two years of teaching 14-21 year-olds in Milwaukee’s inner city, I’m now teaching 5-10 year olds in Quito, Ecuador. This school is definitely ions away from what my last school looked like, but I know there will be kids to support anywhere I go. That being said, I know this will be a big transition for me. So far I have met all of the teachers I will support and they are great! They’re all excited to collaborate and have me in their classrooms. I will really miss having my own classroom, but I couldn’t be more excited to be working at a school moving towards true inclusion and LRE (least restrictive environment). Little kiddos, here I come.
