The Servant of Two Masters - I am a Stage Manager!

If you asked me 1.5 months ago if I was happy I did the school play, I may have said it was the biggest mistake of my life. My first couple of months at AC were eaten up by creating posters, making tickets, contacting schools, coordinating the use of the auditorium, ordering pizzas for late night rehearsals, writing countless emails to parents and students, and coordinating with the orchestra, costume designer, sound crew, and administration. This Tuesday when we had our first dress rehearsal... I cried. I was so proud of these 11 young women who have also given up all of their time to memorize lines, get fitted for costumes, and support one another in this production. Working with Jodi and Dylan has also been such a great learning experience. Watching them direct, lead rehearsals, and provide feedback to all of us has been incredible. I will forever be grateful for this experience and am already excited for next year!
