What do I want to teach this year?

I've been thinking a lot about this question lately. As I learning specialist I often have to "teach" what a classroom teacher has chosen to support that class. Or I often teach remedial skills, reading strategies, math review, etc. I'm lucky enough this year to be a mentor for 7th graders. I will also have a study support class. Having my own kids in my classroom is exciting after two years of not having that opportunity. So what do I want to teach them? GRATITUDE. Have gratitude. Share your gratitude. Talk about it.
